Messiah’s Kids Preschool offers several different opportunities for enrichment classes.  All enrichment classes are outside of the school day and are in addition to tuition.

Whole Child Learning offers Little Amigos and Gigglebytes.

Little Scholars (taught by TK teacher Kristen Goeke) offers Whiz Kids in the Fall semester.

Little Amigos®

(Special enrichment program offered weekly at an additional charge.)

Littlle Amigos is a wonderful way to introduce your child to a second language while his or her brain is most receptive to language acquisition. Children will learn vocabulary, hear and understand Spanish spoken by fluent speakers, and develop an appreciation of other cultures through fun, engaging activities. Our fantastic teachers make learning Spanish fun for young children. Kids love Pepe the monkey puppet, our adorable class mascot. They also love the songs, games and art projects that are an integral part of each class.

The ability to understand and speak another language is a tremendous advantage, but did you know research shows children who learn a second language:

Gigglebytes®

The GiggleBytes® program introduces technology to children. From helping toddlers develop mouse skills to exploring programming and robotics with school age children, GiggleBytes is always a hit with kids. GiggleBytes® is more than just computers! Teachers implement our proprietary curriculum and work with small groups to help children develop important academic skills including; letter and number recognition, shapes and colors, pre reading skills, phonics, spatial relations, auditory and visual discrimination, and much more!  Exciting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) camps and classes engage and challenge preschool age kids.

GiggleBytes® classes are offered weekly in our preschool.

 

LITTLE SCHOLARS

 

Grab your goggles and lab coat…we are heading on a scientific discovery mission!

In this class we’ll explore the world of science through everyday objects such as toys, food, and nature.  Learn how things we use in our daily lives are a part of science.  There will be some explosions, a few creations, and a whole lot of discoveries!  Don’t miss out on this mission!

Annual Art Show

The following illustrates examples of “Messiah’s Kids” Preschool basic “High Scope” learning centers to be used during “Work Time.” This includes an emphasis on artistic expression using all forms of media. Our annual Art Show displays examples of children’s art created during the school year. This honors children as “artists” now and encourages them to express their creativity in various ways. Teachers add to interest areas with each monthly or weekly theme. Environments that foster active learning require thoughtful planning. Careful attention to the room arrangement, types of materials provided, and storage of those materials help children follow through on their ideas and build on their learning experiences then make individual work plans accordingly. (Centers vary in difficulty depending on developmental abilities and class.)
